    Stopped Fry in the 8th.

    Struggled with his style for a bit, didn't look amazing but got the job done. They mentioned his degree though.

    Oh and the ref wrestled Fry to the ground.

    stil cant beleive Fry landed that uppercut, Clev was up by 1 point aswell, what a peach though

    Cleverly won by stoppage. Very entertaining fight. I think Cleverly seems to be finding his top level ability now. On this performance you would have to consider that a big puncher or a really decent technical boxer at world level would beat him at the moment. Would it be a good idea to get Cleverly some really good training in the USA with a top trainer to develop his punch power?
    He needs something special to keep the big boys off and at the moment, although looking good in domestic arena, he will struggle abroad and against good opposition.

    I agree with most of this. Cleverly seemed to run out of ideas until he got the stoppage. I think he needs to get a few more tough fights under his belt to improve his technical skills, especially his defence.
