I am not celebrating anything since I haven't even seen the fight yet to properly evaluate it. I am simply surprised that he wasn't KOD as everyone was saying that he would be. Nothing more.

Yes where was the right hook to the body? I feel for the kid because I think he deserves all the credit in the world for his career but he is definitely past it.

Golovkins top of the head punch caught Canelo's attention in around round 9 I think . Canelo took it well as he took all of Golovkins shots due to moving away for most of them .

Odd that Golovkin didn't go to the body very much at all .

Canelo is a very sharp puncher , accurate , timed Golovkin well ... good fight ... I'm ok with a draw .

Will be interesting to see the punch stats .

Canelo is good at avoiding big punches. This is not a Geale or a Macklin..

His power is there. Small minded people just blow power out of proportion like that do speed. If Golovkin landed power shots with as much accuracy and as often as he does against lesser fighter Canelo wouldn't have made it out of the fight. Instead he landed power shots in small bursts between all his jabs. More power shots than he landed on Jacobs at least.

So why didn't Golovkin go to the body? Abel Sanchez needs dropping IMO.

If Canelo didn't vacate and fought GGG in his prime then Oscar would still be in that ring picking up Canelo's teeth.

Except he was getting hit more than GGG was.

the body would have won him this fight. He thought he was on the verge of knocking out Canelo. who is very slippery and has a lot of heart.

right. haha. These mfs watch ufc and try to comment on boxing. wtf. aren't most boxers cautious of being hit in the face? I know GGG wasn't throwing like he mostly does

Canelo at 155 is busier and faster and not sluggish like he was tonight. This clearly is not his weight class. Look at him against Mayweather he was way more busy and not sluggish slow and heavy footed like tonight .

Listening to Sanchez in there it's like he was treating it as a sparring session. Where was the instructions to go downstairs?

After seeing the shots Canelo was throwing I know it can't be a fix but something seems fishy to me. Maybe I'm way off and Golovkin is nothing like the fighter of a couple of years ago.

Is that how he looked? Do you feel GGG was robbed?

    The movement took it away.

Canelo studied what Jacobs did, and Brook also.
