What Happened To HBO ? Downhill Fast!

    HBO has turned into a B level network.
    From the fights they have to the hype job fighters to the incoherent announcing.

    SHOWTIME is better nearly everytime they go head to head non PPV.

    Thoughts ?

    RJJis ****in horrendous. Tonight was brutal. He is either laughing, inventing new words or talking nonsense. Not sure what is worse him or their cards.

    I still prefer HBO. I like Roy as a commentator, and thought that they did a good job tonight. Max was asking some tough questions of Williams' camp.

    On Showtime, I like Bernstein, and that's about it.

    true I agree...but Teddy Atlas would have choked out the judges after that injustice. I thought the HBO commentators didn't show enough emotion after the scorecards were announced, they might have been in too much shock though.

    Yeah but on Showtime Tarver is up in coming his style is nice and he is spot on on knowledgeable ..

    HBO weren't to blame for the robbery, they all had Lara winning. Although Showtime had the much better fight.

    On the announcers, I actually think Jones is one of the best at HBO. Merchant and Lampley need to go, the BAD team is just better. I like Gus Johnson and Bernstein and Tarver has also become a really good commentator.
