I remember he was due to make his pro debut on the Pacquiao - Mayeather undercard and then I believe he couldn't get licences due to inactivity in the ring. Now he's just vanished. I follow his trainer Tunde on social media and his team, Stamina for sale. But even they have made no reference to him for a long while. Does anyone know what the story is here? He looked like he could have been a brilliant prospect. So much skill. Would hate to see that amount of talent and hard work go to waste
Was he a British kid who they based over in Vegas?! I have lost count the amount of times Iv seen clips of these young fighters who look unreal and look like they can go all the way and you just never hear from them again. No matter what the talent level is there is a very very small % of the human population who have the desire and hungry to work as hard as it takes to go all the way in boxing. Even the super talented guys now who seem lazy(broner for one example) at some point they were they hardest working kid in the gym I guarantee it or they would of not got to the point there at. Most of these kids never even get to that point.
Maybe he just fell out of love with boxing, it happens so often to many talented young amateurs. They see their friends out with girls enjoying a social life and start to resent restrictions boxing has on their lives.
He may just of realized the dedication and sacrifices required wasn't for him?The impressive pad work is just that, once you start sparring and getting hit it can be a real reality check.
Agreed it's probably easier when your like under 16 as college is when the drink, drugs, girls etc all start really kicking in and when all your mates are out pulling crumpet, doing pints and lines and your like sorry lads can't come out got training tomorrow at 8am
