what happened to kermit cintron?... andre berto?

Berto just likes to fight once a year.

Cintron is a guy with better than decent skills and insane power, but is looked upon as the definition of a "*****." You gain nothing by fighting this man. High risk - low reward.

 

Berto is fighting next on the JMM-Katsidis undercard. Last I heard, Berto's camp had failed to come to terms with his mandatoty Aydin, who apparently only wanted to fight in Turkey. They've narrowed it down to 3 guys - Freddy Hernandez, Sebastian Lujan and Jo Jo Dan.

Cintron was hoping for a fight with Cotto but Miguel said he couldn't get motivated for fights against Cintron or Vanes. He and Vanes were talking **** to each other but Vanes has signes to fight Wolak now. I'm sure HBO will only let him on air again if it's a significant fight - he hasn't got anything lined up though.

 

Berto tweeted that he's probably fighting Freddy Hernandez.

 

Yup. Weak.

 

Cintron should fight Clottey. That would be a fight I would like to watch. One quits, the other doesn't throw punches. That would be funny.

 

Cintron showed his true colors in the PW fight. He wasted alot of folks saturday night, going after a truly cheap victory over a better fighter. I think he heads for MMA soon.

 

Cintron needs to fight just to regain his credibility.

 

If HBO does do this, I'm sure it's only out of the interest that he doesn't lose.. because they know they can put him up against anybody and get views and money...

 

Cintron should fight Ryan Rhodes or Yuri Foreman.. or Sechew Powell.. work his way back up... because we're tired of him leaping frogging when it comes to facing major competition.... or fainting.. or crying...

As much as I hate him, Cintron is about as good as Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez... two of the best boxers in boxing if you ask me. I think that Martinez won their fight, but Cintron was close.

 

Berto fought in April against Quintana; a fight in which he suffered a torn bicep and took the summer off to recover. His next fight is on the November 27th HBO card. When has he ever fought once a year?

 

I was taking this year as an extreme to highlight his shoddy activity for a fighter who clearly needs to fight more to develop.

 

Cintron doesn't have insane power or anything.

Who has he KO'd to make you say he does???
