What happened to Lee Mcgregor?

Is Lee McGregor still under contract with Matchroom? Given they have minimal UK fighters you'd think they would get him out from time to time

Sounds like he has had a horrific time of it, Dad hit by a lorry whilst he was in camp.

He doesn't really say his current situation as in contract, which makes me think he isn't still with Matchroom? He does mention he likes the Liam Davies vs Jason Cunningham fight and he is now a Super-Bantam

 

That's a horrific thing to go through. You're right he was vague re promotion. Hope he's in some good fights this year.

 

If he was a MR fighter he would just outright have said about it?

Think QP makes a lot of sense for him, some really good fights at Super-Bantamweight if he joins them

 

He said he is still with Probellum, which seems odd as they've died

 

Enjoyed watching Lee fight and hope he gets his career back on track soon.

 

He's done another interview with Boxing king media. He comes across well, seems jaded by the past 12 months understandably

 

I noticed that from the interview this week. Are they definitely gone?

 

Sam Jones has deleted them from his bio and there was a striking off notice on companies House

To me that means they are dead. But maybe not.

 

They will be back/still about, just under a new name probably. Lee Eaton has a show he's promoting soon, I forget who's fighting on it now, but I'd imagine this is just Probellum in another form like MTK and Conlan promotions.
