A one time prospect with three golds at the World Championships. Randomly stumbled across him on Boxrec and noticed he's been suspended indefinitely. I know he had that KO loss. Anyone know what's happening with him?
It just surprised me that so many months after the fight, he's still suspended. Thanks for clearing that up though. He's yet to fight in 2022 and can't seem to see any updates on his career online anywhere.
Well he underestimated his last opponent where he also had a horrific ankle injury. He needed long time to recover from this and we will se if he is even the same in the upcoming fight. I don't think there will come much from him at the pro's. He is old and have maybe 3 years and max. 5-6 fights left.
He left it too late to go pro like Nistor, and also suffered a gruesome knee/ankle injury in his last fight. I don't expect anything to come of him. Shame. He could have been a very solid contender a few years back.
Whats actually wrong with Nistor? He should have fought a journeyman in December '21, but now he is inactive for almost 15 months
What happened to Andrey Fedosov ie. the man who beat him? Out a whole year from from mid 2015 to mid 2016 Then after that fight in 2016 he was out for a whole two years Fought twice in 2018 the second of which in October then he was out until April 2021 when he upset Majidov and hasn't fought since He's 8-0-0 (7 KOs) since his last loss in 2013 which was on a cut against Bryant Jennings and his loss before that in 2010 was a bad robbery against Lance Whitaker He's a good fighter and a big puncher and he's been around forever - He turned pro aged 17 way back in 2003
Yep, another fighter who unfortunately hardly ever steps in the ring. I remember him winning the fecabox heavyweight tourney on espn years ago. Good fighter.
Yeah I remember watching that. Wonder why he's been so inactive. Sadly I bet it's because he probably can't get fights
Fedesov is the kind of guy i'd like to see against current Brit prospects like Clarke and Wardley. A real test.
