What happened to Martinez-Zbik?

You completely missed the point. Martinez doesn't need MORE belts, he needs to keep the WBC one he has already. Getting stripped if he doesn't fight Zbik or whoever that official mando is... way to go champ, you're The Ring guy. That's it. He should do a BHop and unify with either Pirog or Sturm to begin with... there's more for him to do at MW, that's all. He ain't no division roaming freak like Pac. Stay at MW or go clean up -again- the 154 div, but stick to one FFF.

But it's gotta be done, or against whoever the WBC appoints as mando, for Martinez to retain "a" belt per say, in this case the one that matters most in the division, The Ring being another kind of beast. I can't see Maravilla belt-naked so soon, he's got 2 to 4 years before retirement IMO.

 

Didn't know that. No way in hell he'll wanna fight Lemieux then, as he'll do everything to avoid this ridiculous high risk / low reward fight at this (final) stage of his career. He might want to make an example out of Zbik though, at least he'd keep a belt... I doubt that he wants to go back down to 154 indefinitely.
