youre right, boxrec thinks his weight has been quite stable. However I still think he didn't look as thick as he usually does in the McCline fight- maybe his injuries had impeded his training, i dont know.

Peter's weight and conditioning is clearly his biggest problem. I've heard Duva has been very frustrated at times. Uncle Manny said Peter used to eat dozens of candy bars at bedtime.

beginning against wlad he was 243, then 257 against toney. he's hovered around 250 since. he looked very fit and agile against wlad but his foot movement has slowed considerably since. Probably a combination of increased weight and becoming a more patient fighter. Against Vitali, he must revert to the caveman style and attack more otherwise he gets picked apart from the outside.

Yeah, I also think Peter's big ol thick develped neck seems to have powerful muscles that keep his noggin steady when belted straight on......but for some reason, his neck gives out on him, when he's smacked from the side, as in a hook.:blood

Maybe we are reading too much into this, though.

Let us not forget, what I think was a hook, that Vitali caught Willaims with, and took him off his feet and put him in a swirling motion before he fell to the canvas.

Vitali has a vicious hook, and Peter will be getting to know them, well.

Im tired of the McCline has crappy power bull****. Hes a hard puncher he just has no real boxing skills and cant finish plus he gases easily. Ask Byrd or Brock if he can crack.

like lennox said, any man over 240 can hit hard and 1 punch can end it. Mccline is a very dangerous puncher early. Peter walked right into an uppercut delivered by a 270 pound man. That would hurt most anyone.

The muscles that close a Gators mouth are so strong they exert a few thousand lbs of psi, yet the ones that open them are so weak they cant snap an eleastic band. Maybe Peter is similar- he's Chuvalo from the front and Frank Bruno from the sides.

He was 230 something against wlad. Then he ballooned up to 260 something. I think he should be around 235-240 max

You can't blame me for merely accepting 40oz's offer of the lifetime ban bet.

I didn't come up with this idea, I merely accepted.

Well, you made one with me...and I'm not letting you off of the hook that easily...so you guys need to modify your bet.

We all understand that neither of you are afraid...

I'm a hater of who????? Vit?? Wlad??? You have me pegged wrong. I think wlad is a VERY good heavy. Vit is a VERY VERY tough SOB and would not be suprised if he was to beat Peter,,, but I'm a very big fan of Peter and believe vit has never faced a big, tough, hardhitting SOB like my boy Peter:good

    What a combination.

I guess Vitali will have to write the final chapter on Peter's chin/neck.

Peter looked like a different person early in his career. His pro debut or one of his real early fights are on youtube, he actually looked scrawny but he was faster. If he could lose twenty pounds it would be ideal but he needs to work on his skill.
