It'd be kind of neat to see him get knocked through the ropes and off the ring apron though. Then we could truly yell: "Timber!"

That is a good one, he might have broken the ring itself. Lol.

Ya, watch him fight Butterbean and the audience could watch a sinkhole grow in the middle of the ring.

If those two fought on the ropes, they would surely snap, and the guys in the press row would be in huge trouble!

Well said. Mark means no harm and just loves boxing with a focus on technique or what he sees as technique. He has a somewhat naturally abrasive way about him but he doesn't mean it this way and it's not rude. I've had a few digs at him myself at times particularly over his bizarre dislike of Roy Jones (which may be as simple as Jones lack of fundamentals vs his amazing success ). I try not to go at him as perhaps it could end up more of a representation of myself than him.

    Good post Kev.

He's not so much asking for it as simply not knowing better in my (strong) opinion. I think if we knew him in "real life" (as the closest to real life forum I've ever been involved in used to phrase) we'd be more tolerant. He struggles somewhat and it's very obvious imo. This is why he boils down so much to very simple terms like"I don`t think Spinks was more skilled than Conn and Louis countered very well v Conn." It's almost refreshing at times.

The lounge with it's political views and the like would be a bad place for him.

Foxy was disgusting. He was ruining a good forum even if we sometimes found it somewhat funny. The whole paedo thing wasn't quite as simple as depicted from memory and there was a lot more going on. I'd just came back. Not long before he left he was big noting about (supposedly LOL) hitting a marine (or soldier) over the back of the head with a Tyre iron or the like when he wasn't looking.

Regarding Richard it's great to have him back and he's a fine poster and gentleman for sure.

The bigger point for me is not the mod or mods but the fact that Bulldog reported him. This (if the matter was relayed correctly earlier) is what got him banned nothing else. For sure it's less than a lot of us do on a weekly basis but obviously we don't get reported. From what McGrain says once a matter is reported they have no room to move due to the forum owners demands and directions. If it fits technically then it's a ban.

Bulldog24 himself called Richard "scummy" and "classless" and Man Machine a troll in a recent Monzon - Benn thread among other things when he got schooled. Apparently Nigel Benn is the goat.

There's nothing to miss about Foxy. Hope he never comes back.

Good to see ya Richard. I had this vision of you bouncing the baseball in the cooler for 30 days, a'la Steve McQueen.

Don't want to come across all sycophantic but I always enjoy your contributions too Mac. Like Richard M, you were at a lot of the big fights and it's great to get your take on them.

I understand Foxy was overly aggressive but if you didn't take anything he said to seriously, he was actually kind of funny. And he did seem like a genuinely good person, as @mcvey can attest to but unfortunately had anger management issues and was starting to lose his marbles as he aged.
