mosley is the type of fighter who leaves it all in the ring, look at his fights in the past, even after getting knocked down and beat up against forrest he never stopped trying, i thought he would leave it all in the ring saturday even if he got ko'd.

    what happened?

Fixed fight like cotto had to be win by stoppage, clottey ud and shane ud. Why else would they touch gloves after a kd?

I hate to say it but I think after the knockdown he basically gave up. Realised he was nearly 40, had no chance of winning and was just trying to avoid taking a beating. Once he was in there he knew that if he let his hands go he'd be KO'd.

He's 39, he's taken steroids before, he's been dominated before, Pac's pretty good.

thing is tho lads yeah shane was pretty **** tbf, BUT what on earth was manny doing about it???....

surely if shane was that bad manny would have got him out of there...

i reckon manny eased of after the knockdown, he knew he had it won.

of course he's been dominated before but he never stopped trying.

he was getting out boxed by cotto in the later rounds but kept coming, he was getting beat by forrest and winky and kept coming, he never stopped trying in the second fight with hoya where most thought he lost.

people were saying he's like the black-mexican because of his heart.

He did **** all in the first two rounds either.

Does this really warrant another thread? Not many of us expected anymore from Mosley anyway, biggest shock is that he went the distance, Mosley is done as an Elite force, he can still win some decent fights, but I don't see him doing much more significant work in his career, he's seemingly lot his confidence, his punch resistance and engine are at an alltime low, and he can't pull the trigger.

It's only his own self awareness that saved him from being massacred last Saturday. He's close to shot and knows it.

yes it does, mosley has NEVER EVER fought this way.

even though everyone picked pacquiao to win easily NO ONE thought Mosley would run, everyone including pacs own camp expected it to be an explosive start, i thought mosley would go out there and give it his all even if he got ko'd.

He realised he was out of his depth and went into survival mode.

as you get older you get wiser, He has decided to box, move and look after himself, he has realised that he can no longer keep the pace going round after round.

He knew in advance he was too past it to have any chance, and hoped with all the inoffensive pre-fight stuff, hand tapping and chatting he could keep the fight nice and civil, not get hurt too bad and still get paid the same as he would if he went out there and got smashed up like Margarito did. You could see he was actually unhappy he got a knock down in his favour because all it did was **** Pacqauio off!
