what happened to silva in the first fight?

    i was just watching ufc primetime and in it there are snips of sonnen being a dick. he makes that comment about seeing brazilian kids playing in mud, we all know what he means, why say something like that?
    yes kids in general are poorer in brazil than in america but why bring that up, is it funny in his eyes?
    i've gone off dana, he just laughs his head off at everything his WWE friend chael says.

    what is behind sonnen calling silva a paper champion?
    he says silva isn't a good champion, but at least he IS a champion chael. everyone else thinks silva has been a really good fighter and champion, why not sonnen?
    is it just hype for the fight or does he actually think so little of silva and his record?

    He is playing a character. If he says something absurd, you can pretty much guarantee that he doesn't actually believe it. He is just trying to sell fights and get under his opponents skin.

    what was sonnen going on about when he said when he tapped in their first fight, he thought the round would end and not the entire fight?
