Well that's a bummer. Wish they had that hunger back. Jung Koo Chang was probably the greatest fighter at Light Flyweight and would have beaten Finito Lopez IMO. Helluva fighter.
Chang vs Lopez is just mind boggling. Two of my favorite fighters ever, I cant even choose the winner. But if there is one fighter who could beat Finito convincingly ,it’s Chang.
If Rosendo Alvarez gave Finito problems then Chang would have been an even bigger problem for him. I’m not afraid to pick Chang over Finito, who is one of my favorite fighters of all time. His fight against Tokashiki is still one of my favorite fight from him. An absolute machine in his prime. I only wish that theres a resurgence of boxing interest in Korea. We need another Korean Hawk like Chang. This content is protected
Yep, Korean. And yes I agree, looks matter more than most places here. Really sucks because Koreans have the best East Asian genetics and a lot of them have the mentality of do or die. If GGG decided to rep Korea using his half, he would have made BANK here and became a international star in Asia. His management sucked in many ways haha
Korea is lucky they have the US on their side because if Y'all didnt Kim Jong would be your god right now. Korea has gone soft.
BS, South Korea would crush North Korea, North Korea has outdated equipment for Thors sake! Also keep politics and nationalistic drivel out of the general forum. Make a thread in the lounge about it please, thanks.
Good points. I agree about the tattoo thing. People have gone overboard with it in the last couple of years. Prior to that no-one outside of gangster types had tattoos. I have however seen a lot of boxing gyms spring up in the last few years with mostly kids training in them.
Its was a commentary on the youth of SK not a political discussion but I understand why it was taken that way. Was not trying to bring politics in.
