What happened to the 147lbs division?

Pacquiao happened bro, damn thing is almost cleaned out

 

pac came to town so everyone wanna move weight classes. there are so many match ups that never get made tho .

 

Funny how life works, in their fights Manny and Marquez many were saying the complete opposite.

 

The problem with boxing is fighters not facing each other. Like said many times I beat the supposed number one rank fighter in the division and now I don't have to face anyone else. ALL BS, styles make fights.

 

What happened is fighters moved up because they couldn't land fights and the rest fought each other.....

Cotto/Clottey/ Margarito/ Mosely all fought each other when they were all considered at the top...



Then PACQUIAO came in and took all the damaged goods, but most were still at the top of the division... Like Clottey, Cotto, Margo....

Come on 2 year inactive Margo and you think that was a good win against a top ranked WW? fight wasn't even at WW, it was a BS fight.

Cotto was a good win, it would have been better at 147... COTTO had just been KO'ed so it can be argued subjectively how good cotto was post Margo.

Clottey, was a good win against a fighter that wanted to just survive, no one knows why he did that? if it was $$$ because he did land at will when he wanted, but never really tried.... just the same old clottey.

Mosely old grand pappy mosely? Yeah he was inactive 1.5 years then faced mayweather, so about 2 years later and some months PAC is gonna face him... shane mosely is not a top WW anymore. WW is not hot anymore as it used to be before everyone foguth each other and pac came in for the damaged goods.

That is not cleaning house....




He should have fought Berto instead.

 

Outside of Mayweather, Pacquiao and maybe Mosley. I think Williams could be added but he is a bigger stretch than Mosley, the Welterweights' have not been as good as they have been made out to be.
Cotto is the best of the rest but he as well as Margarito, Clottey and Cintron are all overrated.
