Algieri descended from the gods. Alexander stood in front of Khan...let him take control. Algieri was very long...he actually controlled his distance very well...then started mixing it up at round 3 by coming forward switching between throwing on the outside then coming to the inside...forced Khan to go on the backfoot & didn't let him control the fight. Also I somewhat believe Khan when he says he was flat...he just didn't look right...although I think it's mainly down to him falling out of prime and Chris giving more than they ever expected.
algieri was very very strong and was able to out muscle khan but in the end it wasnt good enough to win. Khan does struggle vs pressure fighters though
