What's the point of having a tangible Undisputed Belt if the owner isn't introduced as undisputed? I understand that Dubois picked up a org belt but seriously? I noticed Usyk being introduced as 'Universally recognised, unified champion'. Anyway it's ****ing bull**** in my opinion.
The crooks over at the IBF decided they didn't want to play with the crooks over at the WBC, and the crooks over at the WBA, and the crooks at the WBO.
Then it's ****ing stupid. He's undisputed,he should be addressed as undisputed and Turki should buy all these corrupt organisations and turn them to dust.
It was one of the ugliest belts I've ever seen. Looked like a discount toy you'd find in the supermarket.
This is which don't buy into the whole 4 belt nonsense making you goat Winning 4 titles, is no difference than former champs holding 1 belt or whatever belt is available If someone decided to just hold 2 or 3 of the belts, but effectively beat everyone, then it is the same
Yup, the lineal champion is the real champion. Undisputed is just a game of politics. Floyd Mayweather was never undisputed even tho he beat the guy who beat the guy who was undisputed. Everybody and their momma knew Lennox was the real champion even with 1 belt at the end. Everybody knew Wlas was the champion when Stiverne had that paper WBC trinket.
To be fair, the IBF had set their mandatory a while back and even allowed for the undisputed fight to go ahead. It´s why Hrgovic vs Dubois was for the interim belt. The IBF played ball for once. But yes, crooks be crooks. Thankfully this time they stepped onto a big rake and it has been a massive PR nightmare for them.
It was just a ceremonial belt, like the Rumble in the Jungle one presented last night. That said, I think part of the reason for its absence was Turki buying The Ring magazine, so he can give that out now instead. Might be wrong but I think I saw Turki putting a new design of The Ring title on Usyk after the fight.
