Wlad looked old v Jennings who IMO is very poor anyway. Combo of old age and fury is very difficult to beat over 12 rounds for anyone, people on here who know **** about boxing think fury has no chin because he has been down are very very silly, he won't box one of the top guys in the division the way he fought v Cunningham etc.

I think fury having the very rare size advantage and reach advantage over Wlad was something Vlad was not prepared for
    Obviously lol

In his training up to the fight you would've thought he would have adjusted to and trained for a taller opponent

but I think the disadvantage of being the smaller fighter, as well as his built-in hesitancy to exchange, caused the loss And to give credit where credit is due, Fury was faster and much better mover/more mobile than we expected

we will see if he handles himself differently in the rematch and I think he will because he knows it's go all out with more aggression and risk-taking exchanges , or lose again, this time

I think the most important fights in his career were the Peter rematch and Brewster rematches, ( due to their power and his questionable ability to take a clocking)

But this is an important fight, given his age and the size and reach disadvantage. But Fury is not a threat from a risking being KOed standpoint It's reaching the big oaf. Lol

Size has nothing to do with Wlad's underperformance. He frankly does better against bigger opponents than smaller, faster guys. Fury has a combination of size, massive reach and mobility + an undecisive Wlad = doom. If Wlad gets his head together he should spank Fury in the rematch. There's nothing about Fury that says to me that he is unbeatable by Wlad.

Fury is s 6 foot 9 heavyweight with both the mobility ( to his credit ) and power ( to his discredit ) of a middleweight. Lol

Actually it was Wlad that did everything he could not to engage. You couldn't be anymore wrong.

Haye went for Wlad every round. Wlad did nothing but jump all over his back. He had Haye against the ropes all night and would not engage him.
How was it that Wlad got repeated warnings for illegal holding which eventually lead to a point deduction if Haye was the one who refused to engage ?

How do you get deducted a point for holding if the other guy was in survival mode:huh

Wlad just hadn't the skills to deal with Haye head-on. He twisted the rules to save himself every time Haye moved in.

I think wlads longevity is good, he was champion as old as lewis (although lewis won at age 37, ripping the face of his top ranked opponent inside half distance) and lewis was one of the older champions.

wlads problem isn't longevity, its h2h ability which is one of the weakest in history.

Vlad looks and moves like a 60 year old man. That shouldn't happen naturally. Russians taking these PEDS act as if they won't have any negative long term affect on their bodies. They are wrong. There is always a price to pay for cheating.

I see. So losing a first fight means that you can't win a rematch? Is that what you are saying?

Seems like somebody can't accept that boxing is being taken over by the EE's. :hi: Try again.

He can win a rematch. It's just that it's unlikely, considering how badly he lost in the first fight.
