Haye was on the back foot throughout and flopping to the floor anytime Wlad got close.

Haye thought Wlad was on the level of Valuev and he was totally embarrassed by Wlad.

Wlad was the much better athlete, he was faster, stronger, better technician, better footwork....on a totally different level to Haye.

If Haye had actually stood his ground he'd of been knocked out. The fact is he chose to do a marathon on fight night and didn't have the footwork to close range and was left swinging for fresh air. And the only times he did connect he never once hurt Wlad.

    Wlad's an ATG Dinodouchebag

Sorry, that's directed at Herol's sub-human reasoning capabilities, more than a serious question.

Wlad did barely anything to win in the first fight. It's like he was mummified. Very late in the fight he decided to pull finger and discomfited Fury.

So clearly, it was hardly a decisive win, given that there's probably more action between two turtles mating. If the second fight is a repeat of the first then I believe that it's time for Wlad to call it a day and take up something suited to his retirement. Knitting, or lawn bowls, say.

He knows what to do. If he can't pull the trigger, then retire.

Wlad played his usual timid fencing game against Haye cos he knew he'd be knocked clean out if he applied a bit of pressure.

Every time the limited 210 lb Haye got close he dumped his pant and held on for deal life. Why was he deducted a point for holding?? :rofl:oops:

Imagine Tyson being deducted a point for holding Spinks:rofl

If Wlad was an ATG , he would have blew Haye completely out in 2 rounds.

Haye vs Lewis would be a sanctioned slaughter. You'd honestly have to fear for Haye's health in that fight.

Wlad is a coddled fraud with a bogus career built on anti-boxing enabled by his own refs.

He's nothing without his holding and its been proved time and time again.

LMAO you are an amazingly inept idiot.

As for Haye v Lewis, Lewis wouldn't have just walked through Haye. I'm not a Haye fan but his speed and power have to be respected.

Answer me this, if Lewis slaughters Haye in 2 why did it take him much longer to beat C level opposition like Briggs, Akinwande, Mavrovic, Morrison?

Your hatred for Wlad is sad and you think you'd have let it he since he finally lost, although he was nearly 40.

Also Tyson ruled over one of the weakest eras in heavyweight history, worse than Wlad's. Wlad would have little trouble with Spinks, it wouldn't be as destructive a performance as Tyson but it would be an easy win.

Lewis would have waited until Haye was old :hey

To seriously address your post, however, I have to agree that Wlad holds excessively and that it often makes for a poor show.

That said, many greats of the past did the exact same thing. Ali liked to clinch. Hopkins was a master of the hit n hold. So was Johnson. Ruiz is maybe the poster boy for hitting and holding. The thing is, the opponents know that it's coming and they need to adjust for it. It's not impossible to avoid the clinch. Martin Murray tried to play that game with Golovkin and got lit up for his efforts.

Either that or the rules have to be applied more strictly.

But Wlad wasn't the first to use the clinch nor will he be the last.

Most of the time, when someone isn't throwing enough punches and looks unsure of themsleves, there's a reason. The opponent is doing something to offset their rhythm/footwork/timing.

Fury was just all wrong for Wlad that night. I don't think Wlad had fallen off a cliff or was unable to pull the trigger; he was just up against a guy who's style totally threw him off.

Briggs, Akinwande, Mavrovic, Morriso are far greater than Haye. They would all destroy him in brutal fashion.

Haye is an uncoordinated , sloppy , one trick pony. To the trained eye he is a bog standard fighter. His record as a HW is an absolute embarrassment.

As soon as he left himself wide open after throwing his over hand swing , Lewis uppercuts his glass chin into fragments.

Haye would never , ever have gone near a guy like Lewis.

Spinks was 10 levels above Haye.

Look how Tyson dealt with him and look how Wlad dealt with Haye.

Wlad was almost sparked OUT in the 12th round vs Haye. He had to maul , grapple and grope him till he found his feet. A proper ref in there and he could have been gone.
He was a total joke. Casuals like you with an untrained eye know nothing about boxing. You couldn't see his flaws even if you wanted to.

What Wlad used cannot be called a clinch.

Ali and Hopkins never climbed all over people's backs and drove their elbows into their spinal cords.

Or one who knows he's dealing with a mentally deficient imbecile who will still be arguing the same old tired cretinous convictions in 3hrs time.

You're a laughing stock on this site.
