Peter should get out of the kitchen and into the gym, otherwise he should retire. He can still climb back up the ladder, but he has to train to do such.
Well, I was certainly one of those you describe, and it is pretty clear at this point that I was WRONG, along with a lot of other people. Peter was young, he appeared to be a heavy hitter, but it seems that his crushing power was more a product of his early opposition and not the Tyson-like devastation that many of us thought was the case. That's what happens sometimes. What can you say?
The fan club got duped into believing Peter was motivated and cared about staying in shape. You can't blame people for being excited by him. Especially in a boring division that needed some life injected into it. Now Peter blends in nicely with the other sub-par heavyweights who contribute to the imagine of the division as a bunch of lazy fat asses.
rtyounce was his last remaing member untill blew his **** up and slappe him around a bit ****ing PEDo sending his address to poster he think are 12 yr old trying to meet up with them. that FAn is no more . quit just like peter did in the Vitaly fight just this had to do with Verble abuse
go to the im still a fan peter fan thread and read thru it a see fortyounce abandon his own thread out of shear fear of being verbly abused any further. that was the last sam peter fan and he just hit the bricks
I have been off ESB for awhile because i just moved into another place this week. As far as Peter/Chambers is concerned, I thought the fight was pretty decent, but yelled at the TV a few times and wondered why Peter didn't let his hands go more. The fight similar to what I thought it might, with Chambers landing his jab practically at will. Sam was unable to land his overhand right bomb early, so he faded down the stretch and lost. I'm still a big Samuel Peter fan, just upset he didn't display the killer instinct that made me fall in love with in the first place.
Peter benefited from careful matchmaking in his early career. Against ranked fighters he looked very average/mediocre.
