What happens after Mosley for Pacquiao?

I think he has a few challengers, Williams (154) and Berto (147) would offer a better competition than Mosley, he could entice Martinez to come down to 154 and fight him there, the others are too green, canelo, Lara etc..

 

If no Pac vs Floyd...

Pac vs Berto
Pac vs Bradley
Pac vs Khan

what happened to arum saying that "due to pacs financial demands"...that he is forced to make the fights in house?

 

I have always thought Arum would look to do Pac-Cotto 2 for Cotto's title in November. If Cotto gets through Mayorga and Margarito then he'll be on a nice 3 fight winning streak, have a title, new weight(from their first fight), new trainer, etc. There's a lot of selling points for a rematch there, not too mention its another Top Rank only fight and the first one made a lot of money. I still see Pac-Cotto rematch as the leading fight for Pacquaio if Cotto doesn't lose before then.

But, with Arum dangling a Pac fight in front of JMM and Bradley then they now have to be in the mix as well as long as they keep winning and sign with Arum. JMM would have a better chance then Bradley since he and Pac have a history, their fight would sell more, and Bradley still has a potential Khan fight which he could lose but both guys are in the mix.

If all these fighters don't lose in the meantime I'd put them something like this as far as chances they fight Pac later this year:

1 Cotto 40%
2 JMM 25%
3 Berto 15%
4 Bradley 15%
5 someone else 4%
6 Mayweather 1%

Arum has already mentioned this rematch and the first one was a big money maker. There are a few new angles to a rematch and Cotto was pretty competitive for the first half of the fight so I think it sells. There are a number of guys I'd rather see than a Cotto rematch but we know Arum loves doing things in house and this is the biggest fight Arum can do and keep it totaly Top Rank.

 

yeah i can see that, add Canelo to the list, he just needs a few more fights tho, still a bit green...

 

Hopefully the Showtime/CBSthing will work and get boxing back up there with the top sports. If Pac-Mayweather dont happen after this then i think it never will.

 

Cotto or Marquez, unfortuantly Pac seems done with taking challanges.

 

Why does marquez have nothing left. Because he got beat by Mayweather and put down by Katsidis? Bit of a bull**** statement there mate.
