What happens if Bivol manages to win against Canelo?

    If Bivol manages to pull off the upset against Canelo where does he rank in the P4P list and what would his options be for upcoming fights? Is he obligated to rematch against Canelo or can we finally see a bout between him and Beterbiev (assuming he beats Joe Smith Jr) next?

    It's practically impossible to win on judges scorecards and I don't believe he can KO canelo. but if a miracle happens rematch would be great

    In that case maybe I should call up my friends and families and tell them how much I love them just in case the possibility of the Earth exploding actually does happen tonight.

    He would actively be seeking the Canelo rematch. Whoever beats Canelo. THE biggest fight they can make for the most money is a Canelo rematch. He likely negotiated a 50/50 split in a rematch for a fight that if it was a close fight it’s a minimum of $100m dollar fight to split. He doesn’t make anywhere near that against anyone that else.

    So it’s simple. He fights Canelo again

    If Bivol manages to win I win $425. I just placed a $100 bet on Bivol. A bit of a long shot but I think Bivol is legit. Should be an interesting fight.

    If Canelo does win I want to see him fight Beterbiev or Benavidez. Those would be great fights.

    And Beterbiev is going to knock Smith TFO.

    If that occurs no doubt Bivol will immediately test positive from some banned substance, perhaps tainted Mexican beef.

    More than likely a rematch would take place. And it would push back a third fight with GGG, which I don't really care to see another fight between those two. Should have happened at the end of 2018 or sometime in 2019.

    I’m curious to know if Bivol gets in the Top 5 P4P, and where would Canelo drop to on the P4P list if that does happen.
