that's all he has throughout his career.... being Pacs bogeyman. i suppose Forrest is an ATG as well for being Mosley's?

or maybe Mayorga is an ATG for being Forrest's?

Pac came forward without even thinking about the counter and he got taken out. it took Juan 4 fights to do it.

he isn't an ATG. he is overrated to ****. :good

.......and you are backing Bradlely are you not to win a comfy decision?

Yet will be right back here spewing the same crap that Marquez is overrated.

Listen, Marquez resume is deeper than Mayweather.

There is'nt anyone on Mayweather's resume thats even on par with the level that MAB was at at the time Marquez fought him, much less the level Pacquiao was in the 4 fights from 126 to 147 lbs.

Has Mayweather faced an elite in his prime! A resounding no!
Has Marquez? Absolutely yes and beat him 4 times!
The same guy Marquez beat, Mayweather turned away a possible 100 million because he would'nt do what Marquez did and take him on without the testing!
    Mayweather=No cojones

Run along now, your mommy must be calling you.

I generally agree with most of your posts mate, but you are way off with this one.

JMM is without doubt an ATG. You say Pac got caught with a counter because he wasn't thinking, tough, it's his job to think for every minute of every round.

You also say it took Marquez 4 fights to do it. Conversely in 4 attempts Paci - OW has put JMM down 5 times and hasn't been able to keep him there. The fact that no matter what he tries the Mexican has always got an answer shows either how great he is, or how over rated the Fillipino is. Take your pick.

if bradley beats jmm, which is very possible...then it is obvious he is the best of jmm/pac/bradley. he should then challenge floyd mayweather next.

Too bad Bradley fights for Top rank. He can't fight Mayweather, unless he leaves top rank.

Lets see, beaten the Fighter of the Decade at least 3 times....2 times while being several weight divisions above his prime weight and one time from a devastating KO...In Boxing, you make people pay for their mistakes, in case your stupid ass didn't know that....Which is exactly what JMM did.

4 weight division champ, beat Barrera, and although he was past it, he still was in the top 10 p4p list, beat all the top challengers he had ay 135lbs, ect, ect...Is one of the best technicians of all time, and is still going strong even at the age of nearly 40.

If you can't see what he has accomplished in this sport, then you clearly are a ******. Which you have proven many times with your ******ed ass posts.

    ******.

But hey, don't take my word for it...many experts are calling him one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time and is universally agreed that he is a first ballot HOFer...I guess they must all be wrong and some ******ed dumb**** cumstain like you is right??:lol::rofl:patsch

Try again, son....come back at me when you learn an ounce of Boxing, you're stupid ass still has much more learning to do.

i think that Bradley will take it by 2 or 3 points. that's if Bradley hasn't suffered because of his last fight. i don't think he will be done after 1 hard fight but stranger things have happened.

if Marquez wins, that will be his 2nd best win in a long career. that says it all really.

Barrera????? Barrera was damn near shot when Marquez beat him. and it was a tough outing. a prime Marco cripples Marquez. Marco is a genuine ATG, Marquez isn't. he's boring as well.
his counter punching isn't as great as people claim either. it's good, but it isn't great. Pac leaps in making it easier to time. against other solid opposition, Marquez gets hit a damn lot. look at what Diaz did in the first fight? he's a basic, solid fighter. he was kicking the **** out of Juan with his so called "great" counter punching doing nothing for him. it wasn't until later in the fight that "baby bull" started to wain due to suffering a cut. but before that, he was dominating Marquez.

like i'm some Mayweather fan... but if you're claiming that Marquez has a better resume then you'tr too far gone.

Corrales in his prime was a better win than a near shot Barrera.
De La Hoya at Lightmiddle was a better win than a near shot Barrera.
Castillo in his prime was a better win than a near shot Barrera.

Mayweather has dodged a lot of fighters in his time, but he still has a resume that buries Juan's. it's not even on the same planet.

i have Marquez and Pac at 2 wins apiece. Marquez didn't win all 4.
but hey, that's all you have to shout about where his career is concerned. sorry that you're sensitive to that truth, but it can't be denied. i have no reason to hate on Marquez. why would i? i hate Pac, and i'm not too fussed about Floyd either.

also, are you forgetting that Floyd dominated Marquez? i don't really rate the win because of the size difference, but he still outclassed him. :deal

Mayweather did duck Pac like a coward, just like he ducked a handful more. but what has that got to do with Juan being overrated? Mayweather being a coward doesn't make Marquez an ATG. not then. not now. not ever.

i feel strongly about this. he isn't an ATG great. he doesn't have a strong enough resume. he beat Pac twice on my card, and they were great wins, no doubt about it. but it still doesn't push him up the ladder of greatness. he needs to have some variation on his win column.

what does he have? 1 win on paper over Pac. a win over a finished Barrera. a couple of wins over an ordinary Diaz. who i may add, beat the **** out of him for round after round until the cut hampered him.

some good wins over solid opposition, but nothing to shout about.

Marquez has an answer to Pac because he's able to solve his style out. it suits him down to the ground. he's his bogey man. fighters have them sometimes even when it looks like they're not on their level.
they can beat the more talented fighter, but struggle to beat most of the other fighters around their weight class. it doesn't mean Pac is overrated. just like it doesn't mean Mosley is overrated when he lost to Forrest twice. just like it doesn't mean Barrera was overrated because he lost to JR Jones twice. it doesn't work like that.

look, if Marquez had focused on fighting other top fighters and beating them, along side the Pac fights, i'd have no problem calling him an ATG. but he isn't there. think it's too late for him to change that.

if you're a fan of Marquez and want to call him great, then sure, it's up to you. but i won't. not even close.

    it's nothing personal, man. :good

so i asked you to list all these fighters the so called great Marquez has beaten, and you come back with all this mumbo jumbo? that's great. insecurities in an older man isn't a good luck.

"experts"? have you seen some of the fighters that these so called "experts" call ATG's and HOF's? nice try.

i see you use a lot of anger in your post as well. that's the insecurity you feel when Marquez comes up for debate. but i won't waste any more time with you. it's pointless. :hi:

No need to waist our time going back and forth on this, but I think it say's plenty that a great case can be made that the only true loss on Marquez' resume is his loss to a younger Mayweather 2 divisions up where he should have been fighting, and cheated at the scales no less.

    Nuff said!!!

Ok so looking in one of your previous post, you say Barrera is a genuine ATG....his best win happens to be what? Hamed? is that a better win than Pacquiao??? ****, even the wins against Morales don't beat the Pacquaio win, specially when you consider the way he did it. :deal
and then you come up with this **** that Marquez is boring...that's all I need to see to know that you're some pathetic casual fan who doesn't understand this sport...Any true boxing fan can appreciate JMM's craft, so
and like I said, I would rather believe these experts than some online dip**** like you anytime.

No anger here, just thought i'd call you out on your ******edness.

So again, learn a thing or two about the sport if you want to keep debating little boy. Class dismissed.

    Diaz dominated JMM??? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

and how the **** do you think that cut happened you dip****? Maybe it happened to be JMM's punches?? no it couldn't be!

His counterpunching is exactly what got Diaz out of there, ruined him, took his soul and KHTFO.

I'd suggest you actually have your eyes opened next time you watch a Boxing fight, my friend.

Oh and for the record, A devastating KO win over Pacquiao >>>>>>>>>>>>>> a win against an overrated Diego Corrales.

Just thought id throw that out there.

i'm not wasting any more time with the other guy, but i'll reply to this....

when someone says something about their favorite or home country fighter, why do they have to be a hater??

Marquez is overrated, it's as simple as that.

hate Mexican fighters?? are you kidding me? British and Mexican fighters are my favorite guys to watch, save for a few here and there from other countries. they bring it every time with passion. that's what boxing and fighting is about for me.

i'm a huge Barrera fan. loved Morales (not as much as Barrera, mind) i'm big on Leo Santa Cruz, who's one of my favorite fighters today.
i'm loving Juan Estrada. Rios brings war every time he sets foot in a ring...

so many more Mexican fighters that i'm a fan of....

so ease off with calling me a Mexican hater. :bbb

JMM is a great fighter, he may not be an ATG but he has been in a lot of good fights and he has great skills.
