What happens if Bradley beats JMM??

I don't really see how anyone can call Marquez overrated. The man only has one loss on his ledger that was a clear defeat as that was to the best fighter of this generation who he fought well above his best weight for his first fight at Welterweight and who cheated him on the scales to boot. He has a clear win against only slightly over-the-hill Barrera, given Pacquiao(arguably the second best fighter of this generation) hell for three fights while stopping him in the fourth, and is a four division champion with solid runs at Lightweight and Featherweight at the least. He has flaws, he's hittable and you can put JMM down, but nobody has kept him there and he usually comes back from KDs by fighting harder and better. He's an ATG fighter. All that said, Bradley can beat JMM if he turns in a career-best outside boxing performance where JMM likely does the more effective work but Bradley compensates enough with workrate to get the decision. It's pretty hard to see though.

I just don't get on the ATG thing much because I don't know much about boxing befor the mid 80's when I started watching. JMM is one of my favorite fighters. I hope he beats Bradley,but it will be a tough fight.

and no, i picked Marquez to win that fight pretty handily due to Marco being way past his best.

i have no problem with fighters beating my faves in there as long as it's done clean with no cheating.
when Marco hit Juan when he was down, i didn't like it. i thought it was a ***** move. so there's no bias from me at all.

but if you want to believe that, go for it...

 

a loss is a loss. and those come against some of the best fighters he's fought. he has some good solid wins, but no where near enough for him to be an ATG.

Barrera was done. he was way past his best, not slightly past it. :deal

i'm not questioning his heart in there, he shows plenty of that. when he goes down, he gets back up and fights hard. but that still doesn't make him a genuine great.

if Marquez beats Bradly, it will probably be his second best win. that's a very good win right there. he needs it on his resume because, to be perfectly honest, it's very thin.
i'm just saying it how i see it.
