It's got nothing to do with avoiding the possibility or being gullible - I am doing and being far from both. :nono It's about not arriving at firm conclusions and, in effect, very serious accusations against someone, without direct evidence. You should read back what you're basing your accusations on; some photographic evidence of acne and overstated claims of power.

Cotto had an 80% stoppage rate at 140 - a division he struggled to make weight in for years. Of his 7 wins at 147, 5 were inside the distance; the only bouts that went the distance at 154 were those he lost - His Twelfth-Round TKO of Mayorga, a few years before joining Roach, was awesome. At 160 and putting the Martinez retirement aside, Cotto has fought mediocre opposition there. Despite the stoppage wins, I would not call what he has demonstrated, as "devastating KO power"; rather, he has just poured a very aggressive output and accuracy on opponents who aren't very good. :yep

You think what you like. I know you will. But, I disagree with the practice of making severe allegations, on the basis of a sprinkling of crummy evidence. And that, I'm afraid, is all you are offering up. :smoke

    RIght On...!

I'm one who also subscribes to the idea that Cotto should have faced GGG...at least in his next fight.

Cotto would have an easier time with Little G than he will with Canelo, a.k.a. The Irish Terminator. :yep

You're right Canelo will brutalize him for 10 or 11 rounds before stopping him, GGG will take him out in 1 far less painful because he won't remember a thing.:yep

I know Triple G is all about prolonging a good show, but I'd love for him to get Cotto and Canelo out in 1-2 rounds.

Agreed. GGG would smash him sooner, so less suffering = easier time.

You can only imagine who was coming after Gennady during his youth in his Karaganda neighborhood. Pimpled midget won't be a problem.

GGG would **** cotto. Not even worth talking about.

If cotto dominates Canelo he will get a mayweather rematch for the MW title. Great fight, i would buy it.
