    Against Cotto he should fight like Brook does against bums, go forward and counter. Cotto is a good boxer, but I don't think he's slick enough and his t-rex arms aren't long enough to keep Canelo on the outside. I think Canelo will eventually get inside destroy Cotto's body and land some savage counters. I dont know if Canelo stops him though, he does take too many breaks.

    I just have this feeling that the fight is going to end bad for Cotto. I need to see what they look like at the weigh in before I make my final prediction. Man these guys will have had a long training camp!

    Yes because picking a guy who's fought top fighters over a guy who done nothing is unintelligent.

    Not everyone buys into the most feared pr hype they have going on with GGG.

    If you think he's some unbeatable force that is your opinion and your entitled to it. Me I think GGG is a good fighter but can name a few I'd pick over him. Either way appreciate you adding to the thread if you have anything insightful to add feel free.

    Yes, Cotto has had much better opposition than GGG, but he hasn't looked good in any of his fights against top opponents. He lost to Trout for Pete's sake ! His record above 147 is pathetic !

    So we are comparing a smaller man with known limitations with a man showing outstanding skills, destroying his opponents (including from top 10 in his division) in a dominant fassion, having other belt holders hiding from him. ... and the first man didn't want to fight the second for his "lineal title" defense. I am wondering why.

    I don't know, I think Alvarez's size and handspeed will make the difference. If somehow Cotto destroys him, Floyd rematch at 155 with the lineal title on the line. Money money.

    Golovkin would have to drop to 155 or 156 to get a fight with Cotto. Cotto would still be the lineal champ so Little G really should try to make the fight if Cotto beats Canelo by some miracle...if he wants to be the man @ 160....:yep

    You are wasting your time trying to be rational with CST. He has a hatred with Cotto that is impure and frankly, quite comical lol. Cotto may have banged his mom or girl or something.
