Will Arum be kicking himself for setting this fight up, knowing that Pacman would have garnered more money from a Pac win ? On an aside, is the KO possible?

if this happen this is bad news for arum, cotto could leave and go sign with GBP at the end of the year....and he is left with manny that is stuck with a new L on his record.....

Bad news it MAY be...Cotto MAY leave Top Rank and go to GBP....BUT Mosley is already there and Mayweather left Arum several years ago..What Im getting at is this is the best bet that Arum has. Its a win win, moreso then the others. If Pac loses to Cotto he still has Cotto at least for the time being.

KO's are always possible even when you least expect them, but i consider this one unlikely, especially in 4 rounds.
If it happens, don't expect Arum to lose any sleep though. This has been a top promoter for decades, and he hasn't done it by depending on 1 fighter. He'll survive just fine.

well, it just means that pac has finally found his limits as a boxer. 147 is after all the 8th weight class he's fighting on having started all the way from 106. no shame on challenging yourself and looking for your limits since eventually you will find them.

if this happens, it only means that cotto is just the much bigger fighter but certainly not the better one. i give cotto a chance here based solely on his big size advantage. without it, no question he gets destroyed by pac.

Well if you're watching it on your TV, Bob Arum will scream out "YOU SAW NOTHING!!!!" and then press a button. Upon pressing a button, a dart will shoot out of your TV (likely out of your cable box/those lil plugs in the front where you plug your PS3 or 360 in) and using state of the art heat tracking technology it'll immediately lodge into your neck rendering you unconscious. You'll wake up 2 days later and read about Manny KOing Cotto before the end of the 4th round and how viewers describe it as the greatest fight ever. Manny then left the MGM Grand and helped a golden retriever deliver a litter of puppies in the parking lot before flying away.

Only those watching over the net will know the truth.

The size advantage is overrated. They have the same height and reach and Cotto is not fighting the 106 pound version of Pac - the 140-147 version is not as small as people make him out to be.

Not to mention people who bring up the fact that Pac started at 106 are really making a mountain of a mole hill. He was a malnourished teenager at 106. If you want to argue he's perfectly fine at the 135-145 range. That's probably his best spot.

cotto get's credit. huge credit and possibly he becomes the cash cow that TR and GBP will fight all over again. pac is not the best fighter in the planet for nothing. yes pac is a smaller than cotto but once the odds are released, pac would not be the underdog just like in the hatton fight.

pac's physical prime was at 122-126. he was KOing guys left and right with his awesome speed, power and workrate which were at their very height then. pac is now past his physical prime but he's also now at his prime skill-wise, talent and ability-wise as a fighter. this has more than made up for the loss of his physical prime. make no mistake, the speed and power is still there but not as much as in 122-126 where he relied solely on them to get his wins.

Manny just expressed a statement that this may very well be his last fight. I think it was a great business move by Arum.

i would be utterly shocked if cotto wins in under 4 rounds, he would get huge credit from me.......i would be shocked if cotto wins by KO, let alone 4 rounds.....I see cotto winning by decision if he does win, if he ca n go back to his younger days when he was a skilled counter puncher he has a much better chance then the guy we have seen in his last 3 fights.....agression will be cotto's downfall imo.....and in brutal fashion against manny....
