Then he goes down Castillo style.. If that punch were to land, pacman would start crying again like he did in the Agapito sanchez fight and he would look to call a no mas.. If hatton lands flush to the body, it's all over.
If Hatton lands his big left hook to the body then maybe Pac will go down like many of you seem to think but I would like to ask some of you to point out any evidence that Pac can't take body shots. For me the more pertinent question is what would happen if Pac lands his big straight left because of the fact that Hatton has had past troubles in dealing with big left hand shots al la Lazcano and Mayweather.
I am not thinking about that. But, what I am thinking is, what happens if Pac lands that right hook that Pac has perfected, right on the side of Hatton's face? What is hatton gonna do? That's what I am thinking instead.
let's see how pac's body will hold up to hatton's body punching. that's why pac allows antillion and alvarado to hit him in the body during their sparring sessions to toughen it up. pac also has that stick routine. i'm sure pac and roach are aware of this threat from hatton. they already mentioned it many times in interviews. they probably are devising a fight plan taking that into consideration. pac just has to beat hatton to the punch by using his left as a lead or straight and his right hook. pac's hand/foot speed, in and out and lateral movement will also help him here.
You saw what a Hatton left hook can do against Jose Luis Castillo, yes he may of been past his prime but the guy still had his fighting heart and could still take punishment, and he was forced to cave in and give up. We know Pac's been KO'd twice to the body before, and more recently JMM hurt him to the body, if Hatton lands he's in big, big trouble.
