What happens if Haye never fights a Klitschko ?

If he wants to be the champion he has always said he wanted to be and unify the division he has no choice but to fight them if he wants to make boxing history he has got to fight them, if he dont fight them (klit bros) then he will lose alot of respect and wont of achived much in the sport but in all honesty i think he will fight them eventually.

It depends what else he does.

If he beats a string of top conteders then he will have to rank somewhere. But he will be remembered for perhaps not fighting Klitschko than anything else.

My guess is that once Haye and WALDO have their fights out f the way they will have a summer showdown in 2011.

 

The Klitschko's are already struggling for people to fight. It may get to the stage where literally both fighters are forced into it.

 

The bottom line is, Haye has no choice but to fight the Klit bros, like he has always said he wanted to KO them and he would beat them both in one night, But he has got to prove this, if he dont beat them its going to prove he has ducked them all this time and the Klits will always stay no 1 and 2. He got to do it before he retires. I predict he will fight Harrison, then fight another ranked fighter atleast top 5 perhaps, then he should fight 1 klit end of next year (say Wlad) and then fight Vitali early 2012 for a mega showdown and then retire like he said he would.

in Heavyweight terms.....he will go down with guys like Likoavich, Briggs, Brewster.

 

He'll be remembered as a good cruiserweight champion who moved to heavyweight and won an alphabelt title.

If he wants to be remembered as a good HW champ then he needs one or both of the Klits. I'd respect him more if he faced either/or and was KO'd than if he faced neither and stayed unbeaten at HW.

In terms of all time HWs, he'd be so far down the list then it wouldnt be worth a mention. If he beats one of them and then fights a couple of decent challengers, then he's somewhere around the same place as someone like Riddick Bowe for me.

 

They have GOT to come up with something, if not then Haye best be prepared to have the S**t ripped out of him. theres no other way round it, take the fight win or lose he has tried. like the chap above said they could end up being forced into it. however its down to Haye if he wants to keep his legacy

Won't happen. All Haye is interested in is money, why would he reject an enormous pay day. He'll fight Wlad when he wants to retire, he'll go out on a loss but a **** load of money.

 

Hayes words and his actions are two very different things! Jesus, have you not copped on to how full of **** he is. His words have zero credibility.
