Mayweather-DLH 2 is supposed to be at a catchweight above 147, not at 147, where DLH hasn't made since 2001.

Two main points I wanted to touch on in your response: Boxing is a business. If I want to make more money off a fight, I will take it easy win rounds and let it go to the cards a la PBF-DLH 1. Therefore bringing about a 'demand' for PBF-DLH 2. Unfortunately PBF didn't do enough to merit the public demand for fight 2. This is the reason why we are in the boat we are in now.

Second, you say tito did well considering blah blah. Is that an excuse for Mr. Trinidad? To use your logic regarding size of fighters, PBF could have used the same excuse IF he had lost to DLH correct? Good luck with you explaining that buddy:good

Of course DLH made Floyd not look as well. It wasn't like Floyd was in there with Gatti where Floyd could shine. He was in there agaisnt someone on his level. Which made for a more competitive fight.

What fight did you watch?:nut Floyd did his best in the center of the ring but he was still getting caught with right hands and Floyd would have to re-set and DLH would PUSH Floyd to the ropes with his Jab or buy bullying him. Floyd wasn't Running to the ropes to give DLH his shot.

You should really pass that pipe! **** it, stop listening to the damn pipe and toss that **** out....it's effecting more than just your vision. FLoyd couldn't fight the same fight as he did agaisnt Hatton b/c DLH has a completely different style. Not to mention DLH is a lot faster and more talented than Hatton .....Hence the onsided affair that Hatton endured.

When you step up your level of competition you are either going to be tested or you'll loose and Floyd was TESTED agasint his most talented foe to date. You saw Floyd lossing rounds against DLH not b/c Floyd was given "FREEBIES".....that ******ed! He was loosing rounds b/c he was fighting a good fighter. You see how he shined with Hatton, Corley, Gatti, Corrales ect..ect...ect...He can't do that consistantly in a fight that puts him against someone on his talent and skill level.

Mayweather would be questioned. He'd probably still be considered a great fighter, and one of the best of the era, but he'd lose a lot.

De la Hoya's All Time Ranking would go higher.

There would be a third match.

For you to think the WAY past prime business man DLH was on the same talent level and skill level as PBF is interesting. Please elaborate on how this match up was so even. (Besides judges cards which are obviously argueable)

    Well :think

If DLH wins we can pretty much expect the Mexican cross dressing community to increase their participation in boxing events and forums. :yep

Overall it would be a huge dissapointment but I'm sure it would urge on a bout between DLH and Cotto so in the end it would'nt be to sickening for boxing fans. :good

Of course boxing is a business.:patsch But to think that one fighter decided to go easy in the HARDEST fight of his life just to set up a rematch is laughable. Here's why.

IF floyd SHINED against DLH his marketability would have sky rocketed. Even in a close battle with DLH his stock rose considerably and he was able to make even more money in his fight with Hatton immediatley after his splite decision win against Goldie.

2....the rematch with DLH would be PPV and would be BIG even if FLoyd Dominated strictly b/c DLH has a name....it may not be 2.4 Mill in PPV buys but 1 Mill in PPV buys is still nice and still a large purse.

Why would I make an excuse for Tito? He dosen't need an excuse for clearly loosing a fight.:rofl I said he did well b/c he didn't get KO'd...I was calling for Tito to get KO'd but he did well enough to go 12 rounds and actually win a few rounds.

And of course if Floyd lost to DLH he would have lost to the BIGGER Man in DLH. :rofl What the **** is there to explain about that?:huh i'm not sure where you were trying to go with that but I'm sure your short bus associates (4guns) would be right there with you.

He can't explain it...Because he is all emotion and no logic! Like I said he is delusional! All starry eyed, having dreams of DLH's cross dressing photos! He knows not what he says!

Floyd is a rare talent......there are few who can be on his level...but there are many who are near or around his talent level. DLH, Shane, Bhop ect...they have a lot of natrual ability and talent...they are also very skilled in boxing. But RJJ and FLoyd...even PAC have talent that are unmatched.

Floyd and DLH have a lot of skill...different styles but still an abundance of skill. The fight was close b/c the battles each round were give and take. Some rounds Floyd controlled the action and landed more, cleaner and more effective punches. Some rounds DLH was able to control the pace and take Floyd out of his game. The Jab was very effective when DLH use it but staminia is always a problem. Floyd was able to capitolize on the conditioning and was able to pull away towards the end of the fight....Floyd clearly won in a competitive fight...but to say it was FLOYD going easy on DLH is HYSTERICAL! That is the true sign of a nut hugger when you make excuses for why a fighter had a competitve fight....EVEN IN WINNING!!!
