Alright moron. Read the first underlined sentence. It says there is NOT any money in a rematch. Then the next one says their is money in the rematch. You are a ****ing idiot if you don't see that. Nice way to use smilie faces to divert your ignorance.:nutcase
We already know that Oscar can't win on points against Floyd so It will have to be by knockout, that being said it wouldn't surprise me at all. Oscar certainly has the talent and determination and unquestionably has the KO power to do it having KO'd fighters with better chins
I really hope DLH beats PBF. You guys do realize that if PBF beats Oscar its very likely he will rematch Hatton. I dont know about you guys but i would rather see a DLH-PBF 3(which i really doubt because this would be the best way for Oscar to go out) than a Mayweather-Hatton 2. GO DLH!!!
It would be no upset in my mind because, Oscar was edged out by the so-called best fighter in the worlld a year ago and on top of that Oscar was inactive and still made Floyd run for dear life. So I won't be suprised if Oscar beats him this time around
:good Not to mention the puffiness around both eyes, but yet some knuckleheads still say Floyd won easily. Don't know what fight they were watchin'!!
Nonesense. Douglas over Tyson was a true upset. Oscar vs Floyd is almost a pick'em fight, with the edge going to Floyd. I believe Floyd will win this one but I would not be shocked if Oscar pulled it off. He's come closer than just about anyone else in a competitive first bout. If Floyd has an off night (and every boxer has them once in a while) and oscar is in top form (unlikely), it could happen. it would rank as an upset but hardly a huge one.
That won't happen because if DLH chooses to fight all 12 rounds then he would get knocked out, just like Ricky Hatton did. If any of you guys noticed during their first fight DLH had periods between 7-12 rounds when he didn't fight back and let Floyd pot shot him all night. He didn't want to take the risk, because he was running out of gas, and it was only a matter of time before he was completely on "E". DLH doesn't stand a chance - at any point of his career He's a front runner, just like Zab Judah thats why he lost to Mosley twice and to Trinidad
DLH is fighting Steve Forbes just to have a "W" on his record following a loss - he's not going to do anything out of the ordinary. He's going to act his way into a split decision loss and his fans will buy it because they don't know any better or don't care if he wins.
You sound like a man with an agenda. And your wonderfully incisive insight and analytical skills assure us of much edification and enlightemment in the days ahead.
Lets get back to the original discussion... So what does playing it safe mean? Is that considered giving your best performance? Or doing enough to win?
Oscar can beat Mayweather if he trains for the fight. If he beats Mayweather boxing will be better off.
I'd like to join this discussion again, but this is one of those threads that the argument is so deep and has been going on for so long I feel lost just jumping in atsch
