SO what happens if Wlad ends up facing the winner of Povetkin-Chagaev or whoever has the belt down the line? Does he become the uber mega super champions? Or simply just has another belt?

Kind of stupid to make a normal belt after the super status.

He'll get nothing. He'll merely cause the *regular* title be be vacant again, and the next two contenders will fight for it.

i'd be cool if Wlad did fight the winner as soon as he got the *regular* title.

I hope he does and its Povetkin, cause that'd make the WBA frustrated cause THE MAN was constantly beating their *regular *champ, and they have to then start the elimination setup to determine another. LOL

Then Wlad hammers that one, too............LOL

But then again, maybe the *regular title* (the **** belt which means absolutely nothing to anyone) may not be on the line if the super champion were to fight the regular champion.

WBA gets more sanctioning fees the more champions thay have! If one guy wins multiple versions of their title, for all I know they probably double up the sanctioning fees.

don't be surprised if the WBA makes an "interim" WBA champ as the mandatory for the "regular" WBA champ. 3 WBA champs!
    they've done it before.

The regular title returns to wlad for a short while, if he then chooses not to fight his mandatory the regular title becomes vacant again.

Hopkins did the same, he beat tito for the super belt and beat joppy for the regular belt.

The real prize at stake is it will be another case of wlad defeating a top 3 opponent.

Did he actually win the regular belt against Joppy or did he simply retain his super belt with the regular belt becoming vacant for Maselino Masoe to fight for against Evans Ashira?

The regular champion when the is super champion is like an interim titlist to a regular titlist except he doesn't become a mandatory.

From the rediculous to the insane. Super champ? Regular champ? Whatever next, Runner-up champ? Close but no cigar champ?

I thought he did win it, and that eastman was the mandatory he later defended against.

Your second paragraph is spot on tho, it means nothing when there's already a super champ

It´d only be a defense of his super belt and another box off between two ranked contenders would be ordered to crown a new regular paper titlist
if Chagaev vs Wlad had been for the super belt back then it wouldn´t have been any different after the fight with Haye
