If in the unlikely scenario this farmers claims carry some weight and he gets stripped? what would happen? Dillian Whyte vs Wilder for the vacant title? Or would they just elevate Whyte from interim champ to actual champ? alpologies if this has already been discussed.
If that happened and they stripped Fury then Wilder Vs Whyte seems logical. But the WBC will find a way to stiff Whyte again, they will probably say the mandatory is set in place and let Wilder fight Stiverne for a third time or 98 year old Ortiz.
yeah it’s highly unlikely but I was just wondering. There’s like a 0.5% chance of it happening I get that.
Definitely, they liked Wilder as Champion, they made that clear. And for some reason they despise Whyte, the WBC have embarrassed themselves with Whyte.
Would be interesting if there is an investigation opened and Fury isn’t stripped. Whyte would likely have legal grounds to sue. Based on his mandatory being taken away on the same grounds
Ukad were going to request a Gov bailout to follow through with the case last time. Nothing is going to happen, The new case is a complete non-starter.
yeah seems more like a smear campaign by the daily mail than anything else but would be interesting to see what happens if anything comes of it.
I seriously doubt that WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is going to be stripped of his title, what grounds? But in the event that were to somehow happen, a Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua bout could happen, with the winner fighting Dillian Whyte, in a mandatory title defense. We will see what happens next, the under card could be Tyson Fury vs The Snicker Man Andy Ruiz.
If Fury gets stripped and cares that he gets stripped he'll probably sue them. These allegations are years old and have absolutely no bearing on his fight with Wilder that won him the title
How can Whyte already be the interim Champ when no official charges has been made against Fury or any hint by the WBC of Fury being suspended or stripped of his title? You cant have a active current official Champion and a interim champ at the same time.
They match Canelo against Fernando Vargas or Marco Mariana at their current weights and name the winner, definitely Canelo, WBC Super Duper Champion.
The WBC don't care about this smear from the Joshuacentric British establishment, nor should they. Their belt is now imbued with the credibility of having Fury as their champion.
