Booradley will come up with a million reasons on how Pavliks hand disease contributed to the loss.

I don't know what would happen. I don't know where he would go from here. I hope he does win though, even though I like Martinez. I like being able to argue with Booradley and Hermit. I don't even really know if they like other boxers. They'd be missed.

    Tough to say.

I think it is safe to argue that Martinez is not nearly as highly regarded as Hopkins, thus making the loss potentially more damaging.

He'll come back if he does, though. I don't know how it will shake his confidence or reputation.

Pav will fight a couple of easy guys and get another shot at the big time. He's still young, has power, makes exciting fights.

I think if he loses its safe to say he'll never be put in with a guy who has any technical ability ever again.

**** -- I have a long list of other fighters I follow, and I follow the sport as a whole. Christ almighty! I'm so old I picked Clay over Liston!

yep, he is marketable. A L would be a huge blow though, especially considering he really hasn't done anything since losing to Nard, how long ago was that now? a year and a half?

Hmm, I'm so confident he'll win I haven't even contemplated this. Well, I guess he'd be ****ed. I'm guessing both the Williams and Pavlik camps would be a lot more willing to negotiate a fight if Kelly were to lose, but Pavlik's reputation in the public's eyes would already be severely damaged.
