Frank Warren is talking about retirement which is great news, but what exactly would happen to his business?

Would he sell it to another promoter, or would all his fighters become free agents?

It would be like any other company... if his fighters are signed up to work for Frank Warren Promotions - they are contracted to the company not to Frank Warren. They will therefore still be obliged to honour their contract and will fight for FWP (under the guidance of whoever takes over FWP).

The smart money would be on Frank Warren selling his business which would mean all fighters transferring to whover buys it. Unless he decides to sell his fighters contracts off one by one but there could be problems with doing this.

Either way you can bet that Frank Warren wont lose out :good

That is if its a corporation. If its set up like a single proprietorship, then the organization is dissolved. All promotional outfits I think are corporations so meh.

I would imagine he would sell the contracts. Think how much Amir Khan would be worth. He has a good, big stable.
