What happens when AJ eats first left hook by Wlad?

They were both in their 15th fight actually and I am pretty sure Derek was nearly twenty stone of fat, I wouldn't say that was prime chisora.

 

He was 18st, and out-of-shape, like you correctly say... and even then that version of DC was still better than any of Joshua's victims. But minor point scoring aside, let's see how Joshua's footwork and jab cope with a boxer levels above a former American footballer and an ex-kick boxer with no amateur experience. Whyte hardly outclassed with a semi-shot Chisora did he?

If Joshua deals with Wlad, I'll be the first to give him props...

 

I fully expect Joshua to beat Wlad but that won't satisfy the haters.

AJ is rightly the favourite for this one. They keep talking about his level of opposition but the class is there to be seen. AJ puts them under pressure has good defence and is a very accurate and clinical puncher. I've never seen WK fight off the back foot, nor is he known for his counter punching. Running away all night would not win him the fight and he should be aware of that! He needs to make it the kind of fight AJ has not yet tasted. Klitchko should do what he always does - fight tall, get hold of the centre of the ring and try to dominate from distance keeping AJ at bay with his jab while looking to land the right hand. Clinch or move when necessary. This is the only viable tactics with which he could hope to hurt AJ and he would DEFINITELY hurt him if he lands flush. The bad news for Wlad is that he is past his best, was past his best against Jennings 2 years ago, not to mention against Fury so the big question is whether he still has it in him to produce a top boxing performance. I would not bet on it to be honest.

 

the biggest question is does Wlad throw that punch. i hope he does, but he looked like garbage his last two fights. those were a couple years ago too.
