I remember your threads before the first fight, you've said all this before and more and you were completely wrong, the only difference now is Canelo is hopefully clean and that is a game changer and deep down you know it.

 

I'm not going to tackle the rd by rd scoring again--its been done to death.
But I already have given Canelo plenty of credit for that fight. How many GGG fans on here have you debated that is will to say 7-5 is within reason for either guy?

I have given Canelo credit for showing movement and footwork--far and away his best performance in those two areas. And I have given him credit for landing the biggest punches in the fight, the biggest single punch I believe was that huge right in the 9th.

I am 48 and have been a boxing fan since I was a teenager. I am familiar with the fact that fights are scored rd by rd.

You seem to be a reasonable guy. Even though we disagree on quite a bit--you answer this question--when you first watched the fight. No replays, no slow mos, no rd by rd. When you first watched the fight and before the scores were announced, did that fight at all seem like a 10-2 fight? To me it didnt. And i think it would be completely off the mark for a GGG fan to score it 10-2 for GGG

Sorry man--If there are wide score cards like that again in the 2nd fight, and they completely dont pass the eye test or gut test of what actually happened, then I wont give Canelo any credit at all for the win. And I'm guesiing most here wont here either.
