Like many posters have said already, i just want to see a clear victory, no shady stuff, no bullshyte, clear victory by whoever is the best fighter on that night.

Chances of that happening are slim though.

The judges almost never satisfy the majority but if it’s at least scored within reasons then credit to whichever guy gets the Win.
I felt Canelo had his career high best performance in the first fight, I still scored 115-113 GGG, so if he can get on track this again should be a nail biter
I don’t see a KO from either guy. I can live with scorecards that are off by 1 or even 2 rounds most of the time as they often balance out in the end.
GGG is far from prime and Canelo is at his peak so no excuses and if Big Red dances around and cleans his clock then good for him. Canelo is still new at this weight and outside of his shady meat test I always give the kid credit for taking this fight with GGG.
Can’t wait for the ring walks and to see these two glare at each other while the ref gives final instructions

Are you reading my post in this thread and others and esp my conversation with @shadow111 ?

I admit it was a close fight
I admit 7-5 could go either way.
I give Canelo credit for very specific details of his performance.
I don't see at all where I am blaming canelo for the cards.

What I am saying is if a win is based on that type of scoring, I won't give him credit.

Not getting caught doesn't mean he's clean. And GGG is old. And he may get robbed again. So well done if he passes the tests and beats GGG fair and square, I'll be the first to congratulate. But chances are slim that he'll do it with no controversy.

Celebrating isn't necessarily being obnoxious. Sometimes fans will lash out at others for being right and them being wrong, that's normal too. Of course, it has to be done in a proper way rather than being an all-out ass which is almost impossible on the internet anyway.

That one wide scorecard took the focus from everyone that the fight was extremely competitive and close.
Because of that scorecard, the media and fanboys ran with the notion that Golovkin was robbed when in fact a better case could be made that Canelo deserved the decision because the quality and effectiveness of his work.

I agree. But being obnoxious is being obnoxious. Rioting and destroying property by fans because of a win is the worst.

Don't get me wrong, I get what you are saying. I'm sure I was guilty in my younger days.

I expect some gloating when either side wins this fight. But since i like both fighters, I just want a fair and just verdict. Boxing can't keep giving it self black eyes.

What happens is that La Chica wakes up with his boxers stuck to his belly.

There's no excuse for rioting or destroying property, that's plain idiotic. Anyone even trying to justify that type of behavior is a moron.

I won't deny that if my fighter wins this one, I'll have my share of gloat and I expect the same from Golovkin fans if he wins. That's the beauty of being a fan even if it's annoying sometimes.

Let's just hope for a fair, clean and exciting fight.

Except Clenelo has a long history of benefiting from extremely dubious cards in other big fights.

So I still don't understand why you are beefing with me. I'm one of the few GGG fans that sees the fight as 7-5 either way and I give Canelo credit for parts of his performance.

In your previous post, you said Canelo had nothing to do with that 10-2 card. Guess what. GGG and his fans didn't either.

That 10-2 card gave creedance to the pre fight notion that GGG wouldn't get a fair shake on the cards.

That's confirmation bias. GGG still did get a fair shake on the cards despite Byrd's card because there are 3 judges and the other two judges gave GGG more than a fair shake.
