never appeared in trouble? he was holding on for dear life, you muppet. if he didn't hold on, he would of went down. he was all over the place while holding on to lewis.

 

Haye could take out both these sisters on the same night.

 

even if haye lands a bomb, wladimir won't go down. hayes only possibility is, if he lands a very hard combination with at least 3 punches, then he has the chance to see vlad going down and then getting up and hang on till the next round. the other thing is, if vlad lands a stiff jab, haye will get wobbled and then knocked out with a straight right or left hook.
vlad will win this fight in the first 3 rounds.

 

Haye couldn't get full power on his shots due to the broken toe. power is generated from the low body and travels up. The fact he was able to wobble Wlad in the 12th with a broken toe was amazing. Shame Wlad ducked the rematch.

when you throw a right hand you push off/pivot with your weight on the big toe and inside of the foot - the little pinky toe doesnt come into at all , if it was the big toe that was hurt then his excuse would have been plausible instead of laughable.

you would know this if you had ever boxed or even just hung around a gym and trained with fighters.

 

(not that I'm agreeing with the guy), but you can't throw a straight right properly with a broken toe, go through the motion yourself now, your whole foot twists and pivots, and your little toe is in contact with your other toes (well, the one next to it at least) and the ground.

No home jerome dead on when saying Wlad could simply beat Haye with a jab

I think some people over estimated Haye's speed

he telegraphed everything from far away and all Wlad had to do was take one or two steps and Haye would miss wildly with these amateurish wind mills

Haye even actually landed on Wlad and didnt even hurt him, though he promised Wlad being KO'd brutally he never came close he was all talk from the start and all talk at the end

Looking back I miss those days, haye hype comments like that one were annoying, but also hilarious
