Calzaghe is engaged in a rough brawl with Hopkins? I mean it seems plain as day to me, that is where the fight is going to go. If Bika could get Zalzaghe to fight on his level, surely Hopkins will have similar success? So what happens?
It got pretty rough with Lacy and he handled himself very well. Bika is an awkward fighter and Calzaghe does best in these high profile situations, I think brawl or boxing match he beats BHOP, Calz even has some decent headbutting skills.
That's what makes this fight so intriguing. You know Hopkins is going to try to make it ugly and slow it down. And you know, based on his intelligence and savvy, he will have some success. But will it be enough to win rounds? There are so many questions to be answered. Hopkins has said that the more a guy throws, the more he leaves himself open for the counter. And Hopkins is about as good as anyone at counter punching. I can't wait to see what happens.
All I know is Calzaghe better not run in at Hopkins with his head down and eyes closed like he likes to do to alot of fighters or he'll have his eyes closed for 10 seconds lol
