What has Calzaghe done to deserve such a high rating?

The only elite prime fighter hes beaten is Kessler and we arent 100% sure just how great Kessler is, he could lose to Taylor next year and whats that do for Joe's status?.....

Calfaghe fan: "Joe destroyed Kessler and he hasnt been the same matey"

Beat past it legends like RJJ, and Eubanks, and barely beat a 44 year old Hopkins.

If he retired today his career will be questioned in the next few years and then eventually forgotten.

    :deal

Pavlik is a different story, hes up there as one fo the top 5 most overrated fighters of this decade.

95% of this board said Pavlik would destroy Iran Barkely.....:verysad

44 year old Hopkins just smashed Pavlik, whom many, myself included, picked to beat Hops.

Held the super middleweight championship longer than anybody and nearly held it longer than any other weight before he moved to lhw.
    Also defeated 2 future HOF.
Oh and his 46-0, Who is 46-0 mate?

Calzaghe, even at the age of 36/37 has pretty much unparalelled levels of fitness and work-rate. His relative hand-speed is also still one of the best in the game. His adaptability within fights is the envy of many a fighter - he can fight many styles and find different ways to win.

Watch the fights and stop trying to pick holes.

    ^^ what he said

when it comes to ring generalship, working out a fighter in the ring, few are better than Calzaghe

and that is with both glass hand and frank warren syndrome in the past.
