Beat a washed up Junior Witter and scored a impressive K.O Over the limited Urango. Thats it. Its decent but nothing special , hes still got alot to prove. The level hes fought on up to now hardly shows him to be Top Fighter.
He looks like he's set to be a solid fighter in a good divsion; holding two belts after 20 fights ain't half bad too.
Not much. He's obviously got natural talent and seems to be a willing learner but he's got a long way to go before i'm convinced he's the real deal.
****... Is this question for real? Did you not see him outbox the **** out of Urango. I'm talkin URANGO. The same mother ****er that CANNOT be outboxed. I mean ****, alright, alright, Hatton did it easily, but Hatton is one of the most skilled operators in the sport. Hatton is the same mother ****er that was outboxin the **** outta both PAC and MAYWEATHER before they landed their lucky punches. And Urango got outboxed by Berto, but how the **** is he supposed to hurt Berto when Berto's CHIN is made outta steel. Berto cannot be hurt. The mother ****er is like Chuvalo but a welterweight. And I understand that Alexander got hit more than both Berto and master boxer Hatton against Urango, but ****... The mother ****er is the best. Prolly the best I ever seen.
What has any boxer in history actually done? All they do is beat glass-chinned, dehydrated, or overrated boxers.
This is a good point. Alexander looks super talented and I think he could well be the man @140. However, I've heard people proclaiming him v Bradley would be the decider for the "king"of 140, and I'm not sure that's justified given the lack of good opposition he's faced. Like him or love him I think Bradley HAS to be considered the top dog at 140 right now, but it's still all to play for there. There's Khan and Maidana (who I don't rate massively highly personally), and i also think Ortiz could come back into contention as well. I was very impressed with him the other night. In short, Devon is in the level below Bradley with the likes of Khan and Maidana. It's certainly not him and Bradley head and shoulders above the rest. As much as I hate to say it I think the Roach trained Khan will triumph out of this group.
What has Khan done?? What has Bradley done?? What has Ortiz done??.................Alexander has not been KTFO inside a round, He has never quit, he has shown a good chin and one punch KO power. He holds 2 belts.........and he will be the man at 140 because he has everything the top fighters at 140 have minus thier weaknesses. Khan (chin, overrated power) Bradley (power) Ortiz (heart) Maidana (skills, speed)
Khans chin will not allow him to triumph over this group. This isn't the dismal HW division, there are equals in his attributes in this division.
Bradley beat a younger, fresher Witter. He beat a formidable puncher in Holt. He took Peterson's 0. He was on his way to giving Campbell an ass whooping.
