Serious question here I know most replies are going to be some bs about dropping the belt or whatever, but really GGG fans what has he done to make this fight. We've seen Alvarez move from asking for a catchweight we've seen him twice offer GGG borderline Mayweather type money in 10 then 15mil which still somehow isn't good enough. Yet we've seen nothing from GGG's team as far as trying to work with the other and compromising to make the fight, if I've missed something please let me know but can anyone actually name something Golovkin or k2 has done to make this fight a reality?

Alvarez shouldn't have fought for a portion of the middleweight crown if he didn't want to be facing demands to fight golovkin end of story

I don't even know what he's done to even turn down a $15 million dollar paycheck, honestly. What a nutjob.

He enforced his mandatory, that's as clear-cut as it gets.
Cucknelo ducked and dropped the belt, Suleiman was shocked.

If GGG dropped a belt this forum would be losing its mind.

Canelo looked across the ring at his last opponent with genuine curiosity. Who are you he said? I thought u were Golovkin.. No replied Liam 'Oscar told me you were Kelly Pavlik'

I figured that would be the only response excuses about the belt, listen man nobody gives a damn about Mandatories name me one top flight superstar that fight's mandatories. i can't name one mando from Mayweather or Pacquiao or Cotto or Hoya etc... that sh!t is an excuse Canelo dropped the belt then proceeded to offer this guy the type of money maybe one or two guys in a generation makes, is willing to move up in weight and GGG's been willing to do what?
Did Canelo refusing to fight for Lara's WBA belt make it a lesser fight or when Mayweather did the same vs Mosley.
All we've seen from K2 and GGG is asking for more and more but never once have they said or done anything to make the fight except for trying to get handouts basically.

Dude what does having a Mw title have to do with making the fight? with or without a title both sides would have to give to make a big fight, my question is during this whole process what has GGG done to try and make the fight.
We see Alvarez willing to move up in weight and offer this guy the type of money that quite frankly is a gift for GGG yet GGG side has done nothing but everyone says how much GGG wants the fight how does that work?

Why drop it then? Keep it & fight him..

Was no need to drop it if he intended to fight him.

Also bro GGG was mandatory to Cotto and willingly passed up his shot 2/3 times. the WBC mando position was basically a tool for Golovkin to try and get the deal of a life time 40/45% at 160 that's not compromising to make a fight that's using politics to try and get over instead of having to actually you know negotiating.

well right now GGG is asking for like 40% a mandatory position from the WBC would grant him 45% from what I've seen, who the hell overpays a mando and the less accomplished fighter? I may not like the business of it but that makes since.

that's not trying to make a fight, thats weasling your way into somebody else making the fight for you.

That's all they retort back to, is him dropping the belt. Canelo as the cash cow is doing **** when he wants to do it and he isn't going to be forced by no ****ing mando and pay whatever % to GGG NONONO, all GGG needs to do to secure the Canelo fight is accept the 15 million, **** what the fans think and go and beat Canelo if he can. It's that simple.

You're confusing Alvarez with them. He isn't them. His last PPV bombed & he lost his promoter money. He's still young too those guys picked & chose after there stripes were earned. Later in there careers. They fought many mandatories.

Because the WBC was trying to dictate the terms to the biggest draw in boxing, and Canelo will have none of it. **** the %'S and take the 15 million and ladies and gentlemen well have a fight.
