It's not as if the NFL or the NBA were just created two weeks ago ago either. Like they exist as this sudden drain that was never there before.

As I've posted before, there's 3 keys to a culture's success at boxing:
    1)Weak/oppressed socioeconomic status
2)A culture that, on some level, values fighting
3)Access to quality coaching and training

The reason there's been a decline in black boxing in the US is this: Just like the white guys and Italian, Irish, and Jewish immigrants who produced great fighters only to decline, there's better options for black guys to make a living besides getting their heads bashed in (generally speaking). This isn't just an NBA/NFL thing, either, unless you want to argue that horse jockeys are depriving us of the next Pep and Saddler, too. It's easier now than ever in the U.S. for blacks to get into college, get good jobs, get into politics, etc. That all takes away from the boxing talent pool because boxing is countercyclical like that.

Combine that with a cultural devaluation of the sport (too bad boxing doesn't have the ad campaign the NFL does to sell itself as family friendly and acceptable for kids and teens to participate in), and the lack of great coaching, and there you have it. Even the hype jobs out there that manage to get P4P ratings routinely have glaring holes in their game. Meanwhile, other countries are taking steps to improve while we're taking a few steps back. It's no surprise that foreign fighters are catching up.

You did everything but address my original points. Typical. There is not one thing that you've stated here that actually disproves my position. I know exactly why this NFL/NBA argument was brought up. Because it's just another bull**** excuse which holds no water.

"If only Haye had been bigger".

"If only Haye had been blacker".

"If only Kobe Bryant had become a boxer".

    If, if, if.........

So according to black's they all in NBA and NFL now? But they also think they are better athletes? Well, black people only do small crimes , babies and sport. You can go anywhere and visit any part of civilised world and if there is black community , they are always poorest , uneducated or in other words they are always the lowest class .

    :good:good:good

Throught out the years they have been great warriors proving how great they are, now they seem to have lost that warrior spirt that the Mexicans etc... still have. They seem to talk their way into a position, or with Berto getting paid heaps for fighting inferior comp' , not wanting to fight the best without having a few things in their favour and then when they are in to deep they run, instead of going out on their sheild like Mosley.

The Fall of the USSR saw a Mega-rise of the Russian Mob with access to all the cold war KGB tech, like Steroid super HW clones.

Now we have test tube Super HWs posing as HWs, and almost infinite boredom.
