What has happened to African American / black boxers?

I'm 20, and I think your just one of them guys who just can't accept the fact that Slavic people are and will continue to be the best at HW, for years and years to come.

Go watch MMA, Maybe then you can find a great American HW.

If its so horrible, don't you think a American HW would come and destroy this bum Slavic boxers? Like come on they can't even knock out a B level cruisereweight right!?

 

I'm not saying Slavic people are the best made for the lighter weight classes, but Slavic people are build great for the heavier weight classes, there fore its hard for them to get p4p status.

 

I blame America more then anyone for allowing these Eastern Europeans scrubs to destroy a once great division.

I agree, the HW division use to be a lot more exciting.
But that's how it is today, you can't just have KO power and become good, you need to be a great boxers to win against the best today in the HW division.

 

So tall large framed Slavs are physically superior to tall large framed people of any other ethnicity? And you think this difference is so significant it makes them dominate the hw division? I don't think so... there are other issues at play.

 

After dominating for so long, the **** just got old, plus it was other things to do,like running the ****ing country.

 

People tend to make idols for themselves and what was in the past usually seems better to them when it comes to sports figures. Also boxing was a far more lucrative and advertised sport than it is today, so this effect is normal.

Truth is none of the greats from the past would have an easy day with today's heavies, loosing to some even.

I am pretty sure David Haye could fight as well as say Michael Moore who fought and won over prime Hollyfield or Vitali do a better job against prime Tyson than Mitch Green.
They are just men with near or same physical abilities and styles would make fights as usual, no matter how name like Ali, Frazer ,Holmes etc. arouse you.

A prime Holyfield would batter Haye into the ground. A prime Holyfield would make Wlad quit on his stool


Do not compare legends who put on great outstanding fights that will be remembered for generations, to this current crop of slobs and robots.

The Klitsckos and the heavyweights today are destroying boxing.
