Lacy was defeated soundly against Calazaghe but he hasn't even made an comeback attempt yet. I've seen him ringside at a couple of major fights but no interviews.

He came back and won a close decision against Vitali Tsypko (I had it 95-95). He suffered a bad shoulder injury in the win and looks to return late this year or early next year.

Calzaghe ruined him. He will never be the same. He is finished.

He's looking to come back early next year.

All the networks are pretty much booked for the rest of the year.

Torn rotator cuff, moving your arm sucks ass, let alone punching with one.

He will be out for at least a year.

    He sucks anyways.. :)

I can't believe he got the decision in that comeback fight. I had him one, possibly 2 rounds down. Joe broke him for good.

I think his biggest problem before his demise was his attitude.. his thuggish entourage telling him he's unbeatable and him believing it.

Hopefully the JC beat down makes him more humble in his future endeavours. I wish him well and would very much like to see him fighting Green, Abraham, Pascal, Bute, or Kessler in the future.

good post. Lacy isnt some one dimensional bum, he is a very good, and exciting, fighter who wanted the best. He lost to a great fighter...and he refused to be stopped...he has all the intangibles of a great champion

in interviews, Lacy was nothing but humble and respectful. His attitude in the ring was that of a killer....aint nothing wrong with that, hes a fighter, not a golfer.

exactly...i dont know why people have a problem with fighters thinking theyre good...if they didnt have that attitude they wouldnt have gotten to where theyve gotten

Some people on this site aren't fans of boxing they are fans of glory.
Jeff lost one fight and he's a one dimensional bum, his next fight is close due to injury and he is a broken man who was no good to begin with. BOLLOCKS!
The boy is good, just give all the bull**** a rest.
