Honestly pretty much everyone involved has done a poor job handling this fight. Its actually interesting to see such a high level failure.

Meh... all I care about is may 2 and that bell finally ringing. But it is pretty crazy how amature they have made this seem.

You watch 24/7 and All Access only to get informed about their careers ?
Have you heard of entertainment ?
    Getting pumped-up for the fight.
    Things like that?

Exactly. There is ZERO hype for this fight. It has zero mainstream appeal, too. Nobody outside of boxing fans is talking about this.

    it all seems bizzarely lackadaisical

    no promotion

ticket prices ensuring a large percentage of these guys biggest fans wont be able to afford the thing

how are Filipino's supposed to cough up $100 let alone afford a ticket to the damn thing?

Charging 100 bucks for the ppv is pathetic. I don't care how big of a fight it is. Damn blood suckers. This is exactly why the state of boxing isn't and hasn't been healthy in the United States for quite some time.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm also excited to see Lomachenko on the undercard.

What should they charge? If UFC charges $70 this is worth $100.

This is what happens when you got amateurs trying to be promoters. You can say alot of **** about Arum but he do know how to promote a fight. Its mind-boggling Arum and Manny would even agree to this farce AKA TMT promotion or should I say TMT NO PROMOTION. I really think they shot them-self in the foot. no-one knows there is a big fight coming may 2 unless you a boxing fan and we all know that fan group is not very large. Completely insane there is zero promotions being made.

That's not true, I think if you are a fan of sport in general the fight comes up in conversation.

$60. Sixty bucks is expensive enough. Too many elitists in boxing. The way it's priced, they want to out price the working class audience.

This fight can sell it self everyone knows about it. I was out yesterday for Sunday Funday and there were a group of women talking about it and what they were going to be doing for the fight. The type of women you wouldn't classify as sports fans at all.

They are ****ing it right up. Even if the fight sells itself, surely they should be helping to make it sell even more. The whole build-up is weird. To me, I think this is Floyd's doing and i'll tell you why. I think he's told HBO and showtime he'll do most of the promotion on his social media accounts aswell as Pacquiao. Both boxers are posting frequent training videos. Both never normally do that as frequent. This is a way for Floyd to promote shots which he is an investor in.
