It'll be a year in June since he fought. What's going on with him, if anything?

has it really been that long?...wow.
he was never going to be big time in my eyes....if he was, they wouldnt be sitting on him like they have been....at his age he needs to be fast-tracked...no time to be fooking about like this.

He really nneds to be testing himself against the other brits then having a go further if he can..

He really needs to be beating McDermott, Skelton, Rogan to see where he's at.

I'm not sure he really fancied the Browne fight IMO. Smelt a little fishy to me. He apparently likes 'being a big fish in a small pond' and 'lacks ambition'.

If you promoted him which route would you take him? Its a hard one in truth.

To beat Skelton or Rogan they've got to be a long way past their best IMO.Think they'd both have stopped him in their primes. If he fought McDermott now he'd struggle and I reckon be outboxed.Basing this on his up and down fight with the Frenchman who I don't think was as good as any of the aforementioned.Hes a big srong lad with heart but I feel he turned pro too late, although if he gets active hell be in the top 10 in the country for a while.

  9. He seems far too mechanical for any success

But apparently he can bang, say sparring partners ex amateur rivals etc

Something ghastly I hope. Years ago he almost tortured a man to death.

    Towers:”October 2nd Can’t Come Soon Enough!”

After almost four months out of the ring Richard Towers is back in action at the Bolton Arena where Steve Foster jnr headlines the show as he takes on Levan Kirakosyan for the E.B.U Super Featherweight Title.

Richard has been working hard through the summer and sparring Tyson Fury and Carl the “Fridge” Baker.

“Its seems I have been out of the ring for quite some time and I am really looking forward to getting back into the game,I ve had some good quality sparring with Tyson and Carl and hopefully Derek “Del Boy” Chisora is coming up next week to get a few rounds in with me before he faces old adversary Sam Sexton.

Towers aims to keep busy over the next 12 months and hope’s to challenge for the British Title by the end of 2011.

“Boxing seems to be picking up momentum this season and there are big fights happening in all the divisions with an abundance of World Title fights and European Title fights for British fighters.
Oh lets not forget Harrison v Haye, should bea real cracking fight while it lasts. It gets my adrenaline going everytime I thnk about it, hopefully the big fights will come my way too. Right now though I am focused on October 2nd I just cant wait til saturday I just can’t wait til Saturday.

That man was a major drug dealer & Richard wasn't involved with the torture.
