What has happened to Richard Towers?

Great interview,comes across well.How does a man with his obvious intelligence get involved in that kind of crap?Would make for an interesting book.I think in a day and age when our heavies weren't as good,he may have got a British title,but not now.I do think,however,he could probably work for the Ingles and be an excellent trainer and cornerman in a year or 2.Pity he couldn't have stayed with them from 16,would have made some money in boxing Im sure.Whats with the mentoring,he'd be good at that I reckon.

 

Towers realized the gulf in class by sparring Wlad and so he retired. Now he is a full time sparring partner.

 

If this was one on one,find the guy and sign him up.Hell make some money.

 

With the TV situation at the moment a lot of fighters are waiting for dates. Richard has recently become a father again and then been to spar Mike Perez.

He was just another Ingle hypejob Flop . That's what happened to him!

Brendan/Dominic gave him all the overhyped typical talk whilst he was fighting non stop taxi drivers with losing records. He steps up gets beat and exposed, then retires. It's the Ingle way!! But oh yeah what a great gym!

 

Id love to see you tell him that lol

What is so so wrong with the Ingle gym? We are all aware of some of the issues but anyone would think that Jozef Fritzl lived under it and hosted parties with school children and Jimmy Saville.
