Wlad and Vitali are just too good. Many of their challengers have weighed between 205-220 and have beaten superheavyweights much larger than them, stop making excuses.

Great point. I just want to see some hungry fighters in the division. It's sad that people thought a soft looking Heavy who has beat a few cans, even had a chance. Who's going to beat wlad right now? Maybe somebody with a punchers chance, but that's it.

This is history in making. You will be telling your grandkids how lucky you were to see Wlad Klitchko fights.

Take your disrespect towards Povetkin elsewhere and come back when you become European, World and Olympic gold medalist.

I think history has proven that gold medals don't mean anything. Some of the all time greats have never competed in the Olympics or won a gold, and some gold medalists have failed miserably in there with the big dogs. It's a different game without the headgear and Olympic style scoring.

Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier & George Foreman were all Olympic Gold Medalists including Wlad. That there alone should demonstrate the significance.

You think that justifies the disrespect you just showed? No it doesn't. Why turning to the generalizing when you're wrong? The worst part is that you're aware that you're not right yet that doesn't prevent you from bashing a great fighter like that. After great amateur career, Povetkin turned pro and went 26-0, winning the (paper) WBA belt in the process. He's a cab driver right? It's easy to sit back and bash anyone you don't like without any argument. Not hard at all. He's not an educated disrespectful street thug gangsta type of fighter, so let's bash him. Yeah.

Yeah, you got me there. But those guys were at a different level. Do you think any of the recent gold medalists in the heavy division could stand in there with them? I say wlad, but that's it.

Yeah, the Olympics in the US doesn't hold as much significance as it used to back then. A lot of Heavyweight now still Amatuer for a short while before turning professional.

Well, maybe Povetkin should show up ripped and not soft for a fight. I'm sorry, but that's not a man who takes his craft seriously. I personally think Povetkin could make cruiser with no problem, and could possibly do something in the division

You created an account to defend Wlad. You have problems.

So now he doesn't take his craft seriously. He was always in that shape and he's used to it. He was super heavyweight in amateurs and you say he doesn't take his craft seriously? He knows when he feels comfortable and has been rolling this way since the beginning, don't make him out to be some Odlanier Solis type of guy. He didn't achieve all that medals and titles for nothing, there's a reason for that.

Of course you can criticize anyone you want, but what you've done in the thread in a pure disrespect to boxer that doesn't deserve that. We don't we go and bash Tyson? I'm sure he deserved it more and we could make a strong argument for dozen things, but at the end he was still a great fighter and I wouldn't do that in the most cases.

Povetkin came to fight and gave his best, he just couldn't get past Wlad and his tactics and that's it. He didn't engage because of that, but kept trying and showed good sportsmanship as well as heart, fought until the very end. Certainly doesn't deserve any bashing for that.
