Infact...what has any fighter ever gained from Haymon...I thought you were meant to go to Haymon when you want to avoid a fighter not when you actually want to fight another fighter. I think Khan messed up there.
Nothing. Just a big circle jerk. If Khan fights someone sub-par at the end of the year then thanks Haymon again AND even calls out Floyd AGAIN he needs to be shot. Can't fix stupid.
When he signed with Haymon, Khan was about two weeks away from fighting Julio Diaz and Golden Boy was paying him $600,000 for the fight. He's had three fights since then, and he's made about $4 million. (He made $1.5 million for Collazzo, $950,000 for Alexander, and $1.5 million for Algieri). $4 million for three easy fights ... most guys would take that in a heartbeat. So, there's that. After losing to Garcia by KO, and losing to Peterson, and getting dropped by Diaz, there weren't many people tripping over themselves to pay him millions of dollars. Sounds like he made a very good decision for his family.
Money. I don't think everyone in the general weight range who signs with Haymon gets a guaranteed lifetime-best payday against Floyd.
